About Us
We are Paul Adams and Dan Narayanan, and we formed Synertree in 2012. We both share a mutual interest in helping others understand and manage their resources consumption using best practice and available technologies, and have each acquired a wide range of skills and experience in this area through employment, academic study, and voluntary work in our local community in Bristol. Synertree Energy & Environment is our professional platform for delivery of technical consultancy services in this field.
Many organisations do not have available funds for investment into energy efficiency projects. In such cases an Energy Services Company (ESCo) may be able to provide the required capital, gaining repayment for the loan via energy savings and/or financial incentive schemes. An ESCo requires sound management and technical input, often incorporating specific measurement and verification procedures, financial controls, and regular auditing, which are services that Synertree can provide. Additionally Paul is a chartered accountant, capable of delivering a range of professionally managed financial services for our clients. We deliver this work through Synertree Finance.
We are both founding members and directors of two voluntary community energy awareness groups in Bristol. Through this work we have helped to shape Bristol's energy and sustainability movement, and developed a wide network of contacts and communication channels for people to collaborate and explore ideas. Synertree Non-Profit aims to promote these activities and maintain existing connections by providing advice and assistance to others on a not-for-profit basis.
